three. Design and Structure

a. The aeration disc provided by our company can adapt to work under different sewage quality and temperature conditions, meet the needs of sewage biochemical treatment in the aerobic zone of the biochemical tank, effectively diffuse the air from the blower evenly into the water, and maintain stable oxygenation effect and efficiency for a long time. When the gas supply is stopped, the aeration hole can be effectively closed.

The main source of slaughter wastewater is a series of wastewater discharged during the slaughter process, including post slaughter cleaning, disassembly washing, visceral cleaning, ground washing, and livestock manure wastewater. Wastewater contains a large amount of organic matter, mainly composed of animal feces, blood, animal internal organs and debris, animal hair, broken skin and fat, etc.

2、 The water quality characteristics of slaughter wastewater:

① Slaughter wastewater is generally reddish brown in color and has an unpleasant fishy odor. It contains a large amount of blood stains, oily substances, animal hair, meat shavings, bone shavings, visceral debris, undigested food, feces, and other pollutants, with a high content of suspended solids.

② Slaughter wastewater has a high content of organic matter and good biodegradability. High concentration organic matter is not easily degraded, making it difficult to treat. The nutrients in the wastewater are mainly nitrogen and phosphorus, with nitrogen mainly existing in the form of organic matter or ammonium salts, and phosphorus mainly existing in the form of phosphates.

4、 Current situation of slaughter wastewater discharge

The slaughter and meat processing industry is one of the industries with serious organic pollution in the light industry sector. In order to control pollution and protect the environment, significant progress has been made in pollution prevention and control in the slaughter and meat processing industry in recent years. The amount of wastewater discharged per ton of product has been greatly reduced, but with the increase of product production, the total amount of wastewater and pollutant emissions still shows an upward trend.

Slaughter wastewater treatment equipment is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, carbon steel and stainless steel, with anti-corrosion structure, corrosion resistance, aging resistance and other excellent characteristics, with a service life of more than 30 years; Placed below the surface, the surface above the equipment can be used for greening or other purposes, without the need for building houses, heating, or insulation. 5、 Treatment methods for slaughter wastewater

5.1 Pre treatment of slaughter wastewater

The pretreatment of slaughter wastewater is the key to the effective operation of the entire system. The solid suspended solids (SS) in slaughter wastewater can reach up to 1000mg/L. This type of suspended solids is easily decomposed organic matter and must be intercepted in a timely manner. On the one hand, it can prevent blockage of subsequent pipeline equipment, and on the other hand, immediate cleaning can prevent suspended solid organic matter from decomposing and dissolving into the wastewater, leading to an increase in CODCr and BOD5 concentrations in the wastewater. Slaughter wastewater includes two categories: pen washing water containing a large amount of pig manure and undigested feed, and general slaughter wastewater.

The flushing water from the enclosure is pretreated in a septic tank and then combined with general slaughter wastewater before entering the wastewater treatment station. The pig manure and undigested feed deposited in the septic tank are extracted and dried by an extrusion solid-liquid separator (with a moisture content of up to 70% or less) as fish feed.

5.2 Selection of Treatment Processes for Slaughter Wastewater

(1) The overall approach adopts mature and reliable flotation method, biological contact oxidation method with precipitation, and disinfection treatment process; At the same time, auxiliary treatment processes such as grid interception, sediment oil separation, and sand removal are adopted.

(2) Firstly, the wastewater is pretreated through processes such as grid interception, sediment oil separation, initial sedimentation, and regulating tanks to stabilize the quality and quantity of the wastewater and reduce the impact load of subsequent biological treatment.

(3) The effluent containing a small amount of oil is treated by air flotation, hydrolysis acidification, and biological contact oxidation to significantly degrade organic pollutants in the wastewater.

(4) The wastewater after biochemical treatment is treated using physical and chemical methods to remove suspended solids that have fallen off during the biochemical process through coagulation and sedimentation.

(5) The effluent after sedimentation can be discharged in accordance with the design requirements after disinfection treatment.

(6) The process flow is simple, the engineering cost is low, the operation is economical, and it is easy to manage.

5.3 Operation process of slaughter wastewater equipment

The slaughter wastewater treatment equipment has become a link, and the following is the specific operation process of the slaughter wastewater treatment equipment:

(1) Slaughter wastewater is rich in high molecular weight organic compounds such as blood stains and oils, which are difficult to degrade when directly treated with aerobic agents. Therefore, the effluent from the grate enters the septic tank.

(2) The existing septic tank in the slaughterhouse wastewater treatment equipment factory can achieve certain treatment effects, but its effluent concentration is still high and carries some oil, reducing the load on subsequent treatment facilities. An oil-water separation oil separation tank can be added at the front end to remove oil.

(3) Slaughter wastewater contains a large amount of floating debris (blood stains, fur, impurities, dyes, etc.), which can be intercepted by grilles to ensure the normal operation of subsequent equipment. This facility is now available in slaughterhouses.

(4) Due to working hours, the drainage cycle of slaughterhouses is different from other wastewater discharge cycles, mainly concentrated at night. A large regulating tank must be set up to regulate the water quality and quantity to ensure the normal operation of the entire facility and reduce the impact load on subsequent facilities. Wastewater is collected by the regulating tank and pumped into the subsequent treatment facilities.
