The testing principle of the glass bottle vertical load testing machine is to use the upper and lower horizontal steel pressure plates of the instrument to achieve pressure. The vertical pressure test of the sample can be set as a pass test (reaching the preset pressure) or a destructive test (pressing until the sample ruptures or deforms). To obtain a stable load force value and prevent contact between glass and metal, a gasket (such as plastic or rubber sheets, folded paper, or cardstock) should be added between the glass container and the metal pressure plate during testing. The gasket should be inserted between the glass surface and the metal pressure plate.
