Overview
The groundwater remediation device extracts contaminated water to the top of the desorption column in order to eliminate pollutants. Under counter current conditions, normally unobstructed ambient air will flow from the bottom of the column to the top of the column. During this process, pollutants transition from the liquid phase to the gas phase. Water is discharged from the bottom of the tower, which does not contain volatile pollutants, while there are pollutants rich in air at the top of the tower. If necessary, water can be purified in a combination of gravel filter and wet activated carbon filter or biological grade filter, and then discharged into the canal.
Product Details

Groundwater remediation deviceClassification of repair methods:

The remediation techniques for polluted groundwater include extraction technology, gas extraction technology, air stripping technology, bioremediation technology, permeation reaction wall technology, in-situ chemical remediation, etc.

Extraction technology

Extraction treatment is the use of a water pump to extract groundwater, purify it on the ground, and then re inject the treated water into the ground or discharge it into surface water bodies. This treatment method can efficiently remove pollutants from the extracted water, but it cannot guarantee that all pollutants in groundwater, especially in rock formations, will be effectively removed.

Gas lift technology

Using vacuum pumps and wells, negative pressure induction or positive pressure is used to generate airflow in contaminated areas, converting adsorbed, dissolved, or free phase pollutants into gas phase, extracting them to the surface, and then collecting and processing them. A typical gas extraction system includes extraction wells, vacuum pumps, humidity separation devices, gas collection devices, gas purification treatment devices, and ancillary equipment.

The main advantages of gas lift technology include: ① the ability to operate in situ, which is relatively simple and has little interference with the surrounding environment; ② Effectively remove volatile organic compounds; ③ Capable of treating a significant amount of contaminated groundwater within an acceptable cost range; ④ The system is easy to install and transfer; ⑤ Easy to combine with other technologies. In the United States, gas lift technology has almost become the "standard" technology for repairing groundwater and soil layers contaminated by gas stations. Gas lift technology is suitable for formations with good permeability and homogeneity.

Air blowing technology

Air stripping is the process of injecting compressed air into contaminated areas under certain pressure conditions to expel volatile compounds dissolved in groundwater, compounds adsorbed on soil particle surfaces, and compounds trapped in soil voids. Air stripping includes three processes: ① on-site air stripping; ② The volatilization of volatile organic compounds; ③ Aerobic biodegradation of organic matter. Compared to others, the process of blow off and volatilization is faster, while the biodegradation process is slower. In practical applications, air stripping technology is usually combined with air stripping technology to achieve effects that cannot be achieved by a single technology.

Groundwater remediation device

Groundwater remediation refers to the use of techniques such as extraction, gas extraction, bioremediation, and infiltration reaction walls to restore contaminated groundwater to its original water quality. Groundwater resources are an important component of water resources, and groundwater pollution occurs frequently in China. The implementation of groundwater pollution control and remediation work is of great significance for the sustainable utilization of groundwater resources.
