High pressure plunger pumps are suitable for use as process pumps in the petroleum, chemical, and fertilizer industries, high-pressure water descaling in metallurgy and steel rolling mills, high-pressure water cleaning and descaling in industries such as construction, shipbuilding, sugar manufacturing, papermaking, and chemical engineering, oilfield water injection, boiler water supply, power sources for hydraulic machinery, as well as parts that require the production of high-pressure liquids such as food and pharmaceuticals. The conveying medium is a fluid without solid particles.

High pressure plunger pumps include high-pressure three plunger pumps, all of which are horizontal. They are more stable, have less vibration, and are easier to install, disassemble, and maintain than vertical pumps. Also known as a three cylinder pump, it has a uniform flow rate and correspondingly reduces pressure pulsation.
