Helium leak detection agency, third-party testing
Helium leak detection is a method of using helium as a tracer gas for detection, mainly used to discover and locate small leaks in materials or systems. This method is based on the special properties of helium gas, such as light weight, small molecules, and easy passage through leaks, which enables helium gas to quickly and accurately detect extremely small leaks.

How long is the helium leak detection cycle?
The testing report can be issued within 5-7 working days after the sample is received (expedited), and may vary depending on the sample and its testing items/methods. Please consult the engineer for specific details.
What are the scope of helium leak detection?
Pressure vessels, refrigeration pipelines, gas storage tanks, petroleum storage tanks, piping systems, valves, air conditioning units, oxygen generators, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, steam generators, engines, fuel systems, braking systems, cooling systems, air conditioning systems, airbags, cooling towers, coolers, evaporators, natural gas refueling stations, gas pipelines, oil wells, etc.
What are the methods for helium leak detection?
Suction gun testing method: locate the leakage point through positive pressure. Firstly, fill the test component with a certain pressure of detection gas, and then use a suction probe to detect the surroundings of the tested component. If there is a leak, the leak detector will detect the leaked detection gas to locate the leak point.
Gun accumulation method: The test component is required to withstand overpressure and be tested as a complete product. Place the tested component in an accumulation chamber filled with detection gas at atmospheric pressure, and measure the leakage rate by accumulating and analyzing the gas composition inside the chamber.
Vacuum box testing method: mainly used in production line environments. The test component is placed in a vacuum chamber filled with detection gas, and the leakage point is detected by detecting the detection gas escaping from the test component into the vacuum chamber.
Spray gun testing method: mainly used to locate leakage points in a vacuum environment. Firstly, the gas inside the detection component is evacuated to a certain degree, and then sprayed onto the outer surface of the component through a spray gun. The leakage point is located by the flow rate of the detection gas entering through the leakage point.
Helium hood method: used to test whether the detection gas can enter the tested component. Connect the test component and leak detector to each other inside the testing chamber and extract air. The chamber is filled with detection gas. If there is a leak, the detection gas will penetrate into the test component, thereby detecting the leak.
Back pressure method: It is required that the test component is already sealed. Place the test component inside the vacuum chamber, inject detection gas and apply pressure. If a leak is found, due to the pressure relationship, the detected gas will enter the interior of the test component and then be tested
