When Heinrich Janssen founded JASTA Art in a small grove next to his parents' house in Essen in 1959, he had just passed an exam and obtained a certificate in handicrafts. This may sound like a romantic story, but given the scarcity of resources, it is a bold move based on hard work, improvisation, and perseverance. At first, Jasta provided gasket kits for mixing valves, and in the early 1960s, JASTA fulfilled the growing demand for heating system mixing valves. With a passion for experimentation and a new willingness, he laid the foundation for the company, and Janssen developed a low maintenance valve that can replace gaskets during operation. Due to the present invention, the heating system can be maintained at significantly lower costs. Subsequently, JASTA developed and sold its valves in Europe and even Asia.
