The SHM-180 high temperature and humidity meter adopts ceramic humidity sensing technology and a special temperature resistant design, which can achieve accurate long-term online measurement of gas humidity in a high temperature and high humidity environment of 350 ℃; It has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, high measurement accuracy, weak acid resistance, strong anti-interference ability, fast response speed, and stable and reliable performance. It is widely used in the measurement and analysis of water vapor content in high-temperature environments before and after desulfurization and denitrification of flue gas in power plants, chemical plants, and steel plants.

●The principle of installation and maintenance should first meet the requirements of environmental regulations. The basic requirement is to choose a straight pipe section with stable airflow and no variable diameter.
Selection of installation location: Choosing a suitable installation location is a prerequisite for the long-term stable use of the SHM-180 high-temperature humidity meter. Please consider the following issues:
●1) Temperature and condensation of flue gas
The SHM-180 high-temperature and humidity meter can measure flue gas with temperatures ranging from 0 to 350 ℃. But when the flue gas temperature is below 100 ℃, it is necessary to increase the heating power of the sensor, which will reduce the service life of the sensor. When the smoke is below the condensation point, the liquid water content in the smoke will increase, and the water vapor containing smoke and dust will easily clog the filter, resulting in an increase in response time and even measurement error.
●2) Wall thickness of chimney/duct
The measuring hole of the sensor probe of the SHM-180 high temperature and humidity meter should be deeper than 150mm into the chimney/channel and not exceed the center of the chimney/channel.
●3) Environmental conditions
The sensor probe of the SHM-180 high temperature and humidity meter should be inserted into the chimney/duct, and the flue gas temperature should not exceed the working temperature. The instrument part of the high temperature and humidity meter YA-150 should be located on the outside of the chimney/duct and kept ventilated, away from heat sources
●The SHM-180 high temperature and humidity meter should be installed on a DN65 flange. The flange must be welded onto a steel pipe with an inner diameter greater than or equal to 70mm, and the steel pipe must be buried or welded onto the chimney/duct. The embedded and welded strength of the flange should be able to withstand the weight of the SHM-180 high-temperature and humidity meter. Pay attention to the orientation of the flange during welding construction, as shown in the following figure. It is necessary to shorten the distance between the flange and the chimney/duct as much as possible. Generally, this size of 60-80 is reserved as wrench space. It is recommended to tilt downwards at an angle of 3-5 ° to avoid water accumulation and corrosion.
●Screw the probe into the corresponding threaded hole on the flange of the probe box at the back of the box, and then fix the flange on the pre installed flange with 4 M12 bolts. When fixing, pay attention to the sealing gasket between the installation flange and the mating flange to prevent leakage of the sampler from affecting the true value of the flue gas analysis.
●When the SHM-180 high-temperature and humidity meter is powered on for the first time after installation, the readings of the instrument may not be stable because the sensor probe part is not completely "immersed". After powering on, observe for 2-10 hours, depending on the humidity and temperature of the flue gas. It is recommended that users check the filter of the sensor probe 3 days after installation to see if it is clogged, and then check again 30 days later. If there are no problems, the high temperature and humidity meter can be checked every 3 months.
●Under normal maintenance conditions, it is recommended to check the high temperature and humidity meter every 3 months. If it is found during the first inspection that the instrument environment is poor and cannot meet the requirements, the user needs to change the regular maintenance time according to the actual situation. During normal maintenance, the filter screen of the sensor probe needs to be cleaned with water or alcohol, and be careful not to use alcohol containing oil.
●Do not cut off power when the high-temperature and humidity meter is running in the flue. After a power outage, the sensor will lose its heating protection and should be removed from the flue.
●Please use dedicated power lines and circuit breakers to connect the high-temperature and humidity meter for separate power supply, to ensure that the sensor is always in a protected state.
●Do not rapidly cool down. After removing the high temperature and humidity meter from operation, please allow it to cool naturally. Do not use rapid sensor probes such as water or ice, as this may cause permanent deviation or damage to the instrument measurement.
