The hydrological imaging flow velocity analysis software system has the function of real-time measurement of water level, surface flow velocity, and cross-sectional flow rate in a non-contact manner under the condition of no tracer, and can be applied to natural rivers, irrigation channels, and wastewater channels. The hydrological imaging flow velocity analysis software system mainly includes an infrared camera with a built-in data processing chip, a water level sensor, an image data transmission module, a solar power supply system, and a fixed bracket.
Unlike conventional image velocimetry systems, hydrological imaging velocity analysis software systems can achieve integrated operations of data acquisition, post-processing, storage, and transmission, with a high degree of automation.
(1) This system, with the help of solar panels and batteries, can be applied to unmanned areas to carry out measurement tasks under long-term unmanned conditions.
(2) The entire system is easy to install, highly automated, easy to maintain, with high measurement accuracy, and users can customize the time interval for data collection.
(3) The raw data and post-processing results can be stored locally and transmitted wirelessly, making them suitable for operation under unstable network conditions.
(4) The system can operate at low temperatures.
(5) The system adopts dual backup, with the primary and secondary cameras collecting images separately and storing them locally. Equipped with a remote post-processing system, capable of post-processing and collecting images.
System composition and principles
The system adopts an infrared camera with a built-in data processing chip, and integrates a data storage and transmission module, a fixed bracket, and a solar power supply system.
The system principle is to use cameras to capture the movement of water on the surface of rivers5-second video, using an integrated flow measurement chip and image velocimetry method to calculate the surface flow field, storing and uploading the original image data and calculation results.
