The vertical design and effective membrane surface area provide rapid sample processing, high sample recovery rates (typically greater than 90% of dilute starting solutions), and processing capabilities at 80 fold concentrations. The vertical design minimizes solute polarization and subsequent membrane fouling to the greatest extent possible, and the physical permanent stop point in the filtration device prevents spinning drying and potential sample loss.

Collect the concentrated solution from the sample library of the filtration device using a pipette, while collecting the ultrafiltrate in the provided centrifuge tube.
