This series of ultra compact standalone visual systems provides industry-leading visual tool performance with the compact exterior design of traditional GigE visual cameras. The size of the In Sight 8000 series is only 35mm x 32mm x 76mm, and all models use Power over Ethernet (POE), providing you with a high-performance standalone visual system option that can be integrated into small spaces. As a super compact standalone visual system in the world, the In Sight 8000 series offers a range of monochrome and color visual systems with resolutions ranging from 300000 to 5 million pixels. These vision systems support high-speed communication using Gigabit Ethernet, providing fast data acquisition and double performance to meet various machine vision requirements.

Smaller visual system
The In Sight 8000 compresses the entire independent visual system into a very small space, achieving the size of traditional camera image acquisition. All In Sight 8000 models are equipped with In Sight non-linear calibration tools, which can be installed at an angle of up to 45 degrees. These visual systems are very suitable for installation in the narrow spaces of robots and equipment that is difficult to reach on production lines.
The In Sight 8000 series provides high-performance visual tools, faster communication, and high resolution in small spaces, suitable for applications that require high machine space integration into smaller spaces.
Breakthrough pattern matching technology
RedLine adheres to the concept of achieving fast pattern matching in the In Sight 8000 series visual system during design. In typical applications, the running speed of PatMax RedLine is 4 to 7 times faster than PatMax, or even more! - Will not lose search accuracy or stability. Equipped with PatMax RedLine, the In Sight 8000 series can shorten cycle time and improve throughput without compromising detection accuracy.

Each In Sight 8000 vision system model can provide optimal performance. Most models are equipped with a complete and mature Cognex visual tool library through the easy-to-use In Sight Explorer software. Specific tools include pattern matching (PatMax Redline, PatMax, and PatFind), filtering (grayscale values and colors), color tools (color recognition, true color extraction, color histograms), defect detection (surface defects, Flex Flaw, edge detection), and ID (PowerGrid, Hotbars, character recognition).
Easy deployment and maintenance
The In Sight 8000 series vision system can be easily configured using the In Sight Explorer software. In Sight Explorer combines EasyBuilder step-by-step settings with other features and flexibility of spreadsheets, allowing for better control and customization of application data. In addition, it also includes a brand new scripting feature. This feature uses standard JavaScript to simplify data intensive tasks, such as geometric analysis, parsing, and text comparison of hundreds of points or ID code results, or complex final result logic. The TestRun system validation, Software communication protocol suite, and Cognex Explorer control center provide tools to enable your production line to operate at high throughput as planned.
