Large field of view without sacrificing resolution

The In Sight 9000 can capture a wide field of view, allowing users to examine quite large objects while maintaining excellent image resolution. This also enables customers to install the visual system at a distance from the conveyor belt, thereby maintaining a safe distance from hazardous equipment.

Single camera solution for multi camera applications

In Sight 9000 eliminates the need to install multiple cameras for applications with large objects or components. Compared to multi camera systems, the In Sight 9000 single camera solution can reduce complexity, calibration requirements, and costs. Independent devices can reduce the number of equipment that needs to be installed on production lines with limited space. In addition, the IP67 rated casing can protect the system from the effects of liquids and dust, without the need for an additional external casing.

In Sight 9000 solves the application challenges that previously required programming on computers or controller based systems. The In Sight EasyBuilder interface guides operators through a step-by-step process to gradually complete settings, and advanced spreadsheet views provide direct access to visual tools. Regardless of the image resolution requirements or application complexity, customers can work in the same UI within the same application setup environment.

Advanced visual tools and image processing technologies in the industry

The In Sight 9000 is equipped with advanced visual tools and image processing technology from Cognex, including PatMax RedLine - the gold standard for fast, stable, and high-precision 2D pattern matching. The In Sight 9912 model is also equipped with HDR+technology, which extends the boundaries of High Dynamic Exposure (HDR) technology and enhances the image contrast of the entire image without reducing the capture speed.

The In Sight 9902L line scanning vision system is used to inspect large, cylindrical, and continuously moving objects. It captures 2000 pixels per line and provides a 32MP image (16000 lines), enabling visual tools to perform highly detailed inspections. The pixel line scanning speed is 67000 lines per second (15us scanning rate), which can keep up with faster production lines. The 9902L only requires a small field of view of the target component, making it an ideal choice for applications with limited field of view or installation space.

The In Sight 9912 array scanning vision system offers monochrome and color models, making it an ideal choice for detecting large fixed components. 9912 collects 12MP (4096 x 3000 pixels) images, which can capture image details, achieving high-precision measurement and detection without sacrificing the field of view.
