1、 Product Introduction
Ionic chromatography column is the separation system of ion chromatography system, which is one of the core components of ion chromatography and also one of the most commonly used consumables. The currently most widely used ion exchange ion chromatography column is mainly used for analyzing charged anions and cations, small molecule organic acids, etc. in samples, such as Cl - SO42-、K+、Na+、 Citric acid, etc. According to the analysis of ion types, they can be roughly divided into two categories: anion chromatography columns and cation chromatography columns
Anion chromatography column is mainly used to analyze anions in samples. The eluent (mobile phase) mainly includes carbonate system and hydroxide system, which can be selected according to the detection requirements. The hydroxide system chromatographic column has an advantage over the carbonate system in trace detection due to its lower conductivity background.
Cation chromatography column is mainly used to analyze cations in samples, and the eluent (mobile phase) is mainly methane sulfonic acid.
Note: It is necessary to distinguish between liquid and gas chromatography columns. The substances separated by ion chromatography columns are charged inorganic salt ions. Liquid chromatography columns mainly analyze organic compounds, while gas chromatography columns mainly analyze volatile organic substances.
