Installation of dust removal fan:
The dust removal fan is installed and fixed on the belt support of the comprehensive excavator at a height of 40-45 meters on the working face, and moves forward as the working face advances.
2. Installation method of dust removal fan duct:
① The distance between the suction end duct (skeleton duct) of the dust removal fan and the working face shall not exceed 2 meters.
② The distance between the outlet at the end of the air duct of the press in fan and the positive pressure outlet of the dust removal fan should be kept between 10 and 20 meters; The distance between the air outlet of the press in fan duct and the working surface should be kept between 15-20 meters.
③ The air outlet of the press in fan duct should be extended forward to a distance of no more than 5 meters from the working face at any time during excavation. It should be hung according to the standard and not connected temporarily. It should be connected and used when the working face stops blowing and discharging gas, or when the dust removal fan loses power or malfunctions and stops running.
3. Usage and management methods of dust removal fan:
① The dust removal fan and the compression fan are interlocked and locked. When the compression fan stops running, the extraction fan automatically stops running. When the compression fan is not started, the dust removal fan is locked and cannot be started.
② If the dust removal fan stops using, connect the end of the compressed air fan's air duct to the spare air duct in the working face section to ensure that the compressed air fan supplies air to the working face normally. It is necessary to ensure that the air outlet of the positive pressure inlet fan duct is no more than 5 meters from the working face.
③ The dust removal fan is managed by the fan driver and implements a hanging system. The installation, use, and management of the skeleton air duct of the dust removal fan are the responsibility of the user unit, ensuring that the installation quality and the distance from the end of the air duct to the working face meet the requirements.
④ The air volume at the end of the air duct of the press in fan should be greater than the suction air volume of the dust removal fan to ensure that there is no "circulating air" in the dust removal fan, and there is no gas exceeding or accumulating phenomenon in the cross section roadway of the press in and dust removal fans.
⑤ The extension of flexible air ducts is the responsibility of the security team, while the extension of dust removal fans (skeleton air ducts) is the responsibility of the construction unit, with a distance of no more than 2 meters from the working face
⑥ The working face adopts a mixed ventilation method. When there is a temporary air stop on the working face, the gas discharge measures formulated by the security team must be followed. However, after the gas is discharged, the tile inspector should enter the working face in a timely manner to check the gas concentration. If the gas concentration on the working face exceeds 1%, the tile inspector is responsible for extending the pressure type air duct to a position not more than 5 meters away from the working face, and continuing to discharge the gas on the working face. After the gas discharge is completed, the construction unit sends a full-time electrician to restore the operation of the extraction type dust removal fan. At the same time, the tile inspector will disconnect the pressure type air duct and ensure that the distance between the end of the air duct and the working face is not more than 25 meters.
⑧ The dust removal fan must be consistently used during production on the working face. In order to maintain the dust removal effect, the dust removal fan must be supplied with an appropriate amount of clean pressurized water. When the dedusting fan is started, spray must be carried out, and when it is stopped, the spray device must be closed.

After using the ZZJC dust removal fan on the excavation face, the dust reduction efficiency of the dust reached 53.2%, and the dust reduction efficiency of the respiratory dust reached over 50.1%; After using this dust removal fan in the excavation face, the dust reduction efficiency can reach 80.0%, and the dust reduction efficiency of respiratory dust can reach over 75.2%.
