Working principle of stepped mechanical grille:

The toothed rake is fixed on the chain, and the chain runs along the guide rail. The toothed rake descends from the rear of the grate and runs from the bottom to the front of the grate. From bottom to top, it pulls the floating objects blocked by the grate along the baffle to the slag discharge port and unloads them into the slag truck.
