Introduction to laser cutting:
Laser cutting is the process of using a high-power density laser beam to irradiate a workpiece, causing the irradiated material to rapidly melt and vaporize. At the same time, a high-speed airflow coaxial with the beam blows away the molten material, thereby achieving the cutting of the workpiece.

Reasons for the generation of cutting dust:
Laser vaporization cutting: Under the heating of a high-power density laser beam, about 40% of the material vaporizes into steam and disappears. 60% of the material is blown away from the bottom of the cutting seam by auxiliary gas as a spray, which combines with small particles in the air to form dust.
Laser melting cutting: When the power density of the incident laser beam exceeds a certain value, the material at the irradiation site begins to evaporate, forming holes, while the material around the speed of light is melted. Then, the auxiliary airflow coaxial with the speed of light carries away the surrounding molten material, forming smoke and dust.
Laser oxidation cutting: The surface of the material is quickly heated to the ignition temperature under the irradiation of a laser beam, and then undergoes intense combustion reactions with oxygen, releasing a large amount of heat and forming small holes filled with steam inside the material. The surrounding area of the small holes is surrounded by molten metal walls, and these steam and molten substances are carried away by auxiliary airflow, floating in the workshop and forming dust and smoke.
