Long flame coal is a type of bituminous coal with low degree of metamorphism, which is easy to burn and produces a long flame during combustion. Therefore, it is called long flame coal. Its volatile matter content is high, and it has little or no cohesiveness. Black, with dark brown stripes, with asphalt luster, and high toughness. The main production areas include Zhungeer in Inner Mongolia, Hebaopian in Shanxi, Hedong in Xinjiang, Fushun in Liaoning, and Shenfu in Shaanxi.
Long flame coal has poor coking properties and can be used as a raw material for gasification and low-temperature dry distillation, as well as for civilian and power fuel. When coking alone, it can also form small, elongated coke, but with poor strength, high powder coke rate, high internal water content, strong activity, and easy oxidation. With the increasing demand for coal quality in the coal market, moisture has become the main factor affecting the quality of low rank bituminous coal such as long flame coal.
Our company has developed a series of technical problems related to high volatile matter, high deflagration index, strong activity, and flammability and explosiveness of long flame coalLong flame coal dryerQuality improvement equipment. The dehydration treatment of long flame coal, non stick coal, and weakly stick coal materials is very suitable for Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Shanxi and other regions after practical promotion and use.
Our company adopts the long flame coal drying process, which fully absorbs the advantages of conventional methods. Based on the characteristics of long flame coal, we have developed a drum drying system with a special internal structure and adopted a cyclic drying method to ensure the stable operation of the drying system. The process is as follows: wet coal is fed into a drum dryer by a feeder, and in the dryer, the wet material and drying medium undergo mass and heat exchange. The wet material passes through the constant velocity drying stage and the deceleration drying stage in sequence to become qualified dried products, which are then transported outside after secondary discharge. The high-temperature flue gas generated by the combustion furnace is mixed with the preliminarily purified dry exhaust gas in the air distribution chamber to reach the required temperature, and then enters the dryer for mass and heat exchange with the material. After transferring heat to the material, it becomes exhaust gas. Under the action of the induced draft fan, the exhaust gas is preliminarily removed by the cyclone dust collector, and a part of it returns to the air distribution chamber, while the other part is further purified and discharged into the atmosphere.
In response to the high moisture content and easy breakage of long flame coal during drying, our company has made special designs on the internal structure of the cylinder, further strengthening the anti breakage of the solid block material and cleaning the bonding of the inner wall of the cylinder. This not only improves thermal efficiency, but also effectively avoids coal sticking and over drying in the dryer. The system also has the following characteristics:
1. The operating parameters can be changed according to different material properties (moisture, ash content, particle size composition), so that the material can form a stable fully broken fabric curtain in the dryer cylinder, and the mass and heat exchange is more sufficient;
2. Long flame coal dryer has strong overload resistance;
3. Apply high-temperature resistant paint on the surface of the dryer to prevent the topcoat from peeling off due to heat during operation;
4. The dryer has achieved "zero horizontal thrust", greatly reducing the wear of the retaining wheel and ensuring smooth and reliable operation of the cylinder;
5. The long flame coal dryer adopts a "self-aligning supporting wheel device", which ensures that the matching between the supporting wheel and the rolling ring is always in linear contact, greatly reducing wear and power loss;
6. The dryer adopts non powered spiral feeding, which not only solves the problems of material blockage and bonding, but also turns intermittent feeding into continuous feeding.
