Overview

This communication protocol adopts the standardModbus protocol, the transmission mode used isRTUPatternModbusProtocol is a master-Ad hoc protocol.

Only one device can send on the line at any time. The information exchange is managed by the main station, and only it can initiate it. It will poll the slave stations one after another. Unless approved by the master station, no slave station can send messages. Direct communication between slave stations is not possible.

The protocol frame does not contain any message header bytes or message byte terminators.
