Mercury ultraviolet lamp, also known as mercury ultraviolet sterilization lamp. Mercury amalgam is an alloy composed of mercury and other metals. Under the excitation of electric current, the amalgam lamp emits stable ultraviolet rays with wavelengths of 254nm and 185nm.
UV lamps are often referred to as low-pressure mercury lamps, and the difference between ordinary UV lamps and mercury amalgam UV sterilization lamps is the presence of a small amount of mercury and other metal alloys inside the lamp tube. Under the action of mercury amalgam, the impact of rising lamp tube temperature on ultraviolet output can be reduced, and to a certain extent, the service life of ultraviolet lamps can also be enhanced.
Mercury lamp is a type of ultraviolet sterilization lamp mainly used for water treatment sterilization. Due to its high power and long lifespan, energy consumption is greatly reduced. Due to the high price of medium pressure ultraviolet lamps, they have become an economical alternative to medium pressure mercury lamps. They save energy and generate very little heat. Their UV output power is 3-10 times that of a typical low-pressure mercury lamp, and they can adapt to higher environmental temperatures, usually up to 90 ℃.
