Mongolian coal has the characteristics of low ash content, high volatile matter, low ignition point, high heat generation, easy combustion, and high internal water content. The characteristics of Mongolian coal seriously restrict its development and utilization. In response to this situation, our company has designed aMongolian coal dryerThe equipment can dry and improve the quality of Mongolian coal, greatly reducing the internal and external moisture content, and increasing its heat generation to over 5000 kcal, greatly enhancing the added value of Mongolian coal. The Mongolian coal dryer adopts the technology of crushing and dispersing Mongolian coal before thermal drying, which enables continuous, industrialized, and automated disposal of Mongolian coal. After being treated by the Mongolian coal drying process, the moisture content of Mongolian coal can be reduced from 25-28% to around 12%. Due to the introduction of pre crushing, dispersion, breaking, and anti sticking processes in the drying process of Mongolian coal, the drying efficiency of Mongolian coal has been significantly improved.

working principle


After the wet coal is dispersed and pre crushed in the buffer bin, it is evenly distributed on one or more strips, and then enters the feeder, which enters the drying drum of the coal dryer through the feeder. Wet coal enters the drum for downstream drying, and the coal is continuously picked up and scattered in a spiral motion under the action of the high angle plate, achieving heat exchange and rapidly increasing the coal temperature. Then the coal is quickly pushed to the constant temperature evaporation section for drying, and the coal is repeatedly lifted and dropped in the drum. The coal fully absorbs heat during its movement, and the moisture in the capillary pores begins to evaporate, which is timely taken out of the drum by the induced draft fan. After the coal stays in the constant temperature zone at the appropriate time, it is pushed down by the spiral plate to the cooling and drying zone, where it releases a large amount of water vapor. The entire process belongs to the heat release process, and a large amount of water vapor is discharged outside the cylinder with the strong induced draft fan. Subsequently, the coal slides to the discharge bin under the action of gravity, completing the coal drying process.

The performance characteristics of the Mongolian coal dryer are as follows:

The heat source system with a thermal efficiency of up to 90% makes the comprehensive thermal efficiency as high as 73%. Part of the dried hot air is sent from the tail end to the front end for further heating, reducing heat loss.
