The clay collection device is the main equipment used to monitor the quality of industrial circulating cooling water treatment and microbial growth. Compliant with GB/T14643.3 "Determination of bacteria and algae in industrial circulating cooling water - Part 3: Determination of slime fungi - Plate counting method" standard. Suitable for the determination of slime fungi in industrial circulating cooling water, as well as in raw water, domestic water, and other types of water.

Method summary:
Adjust the valve in the clay collection device to control the flow rate of the cooling water at around 0.8m/s and the water flow rate at around 1m3. Then close the plug valve of the plankton net and filter 1m3 of water. Then close the water valve, remove the plankton net, open the plug valve, collect the sticky mud in a 500ml measuring cylinder, settle for 30 minutes, and pour out the upper clear liquid. Transfer the remaining turbidity to a 25ml measuring cylinder, let it stand for 30 minutes, and record the volume of sediment that has settled.
