Injection water equipmentIt is a GMP critical system. Multi effect distilled water machine is currently the most widely used key equipment in injection water preparation systems. The multi effect distilled water machine adopts high temperature and high pressure operation to ensure stable production of injection water without heat source. The distilled water produced by the multi effect distilled water machine fully meets the requirements for injection water in the current US Pharmacopoeia, European Pharmacopoeia, Japanese Pharmacopoeia, and Chinese Pharmacopoeia.
The process of a multi effect distilled water machine is as follows:
The raw water is heated by industrial steam condensate in the first effect preheater, and after entering each effect preheater, it is heated by the condensate (distilled water) of the secondary steam;
The condenser is heated by secondary steam and distilled water;
Then, at the top of the evaporator, it is evenly distributed into the evaporator tubes through a water separation device, forming a thin film like water flow inside the evaporator tubes;
These water flows are quickly evaporated due to their thinness, producing secondary steam;
The raw water that has not been evaporated is transported to the next effect as the raw water for the secondary effect evaporator. Similar to this, the raw water that has not been evaporated will enter the next effect. If it has not been evaporated until the last effect, it will be discharged as condensed water;
The raw water that has been evaporated is now secondary steam, which continues to spiral upwards in the evaporator, passes through a special separation device in the middle and upper parts, and enters the pure steam pipeline as a secondary heat source;
The secondary steam condenses into distilled water after absorbing heat in the secondary effect; The process of each effect is similar to this. The distilled water of each effect and the secondary steam of the final effect are collected by the condenser, and after heat exchange with the cooling water and raw material water, they are cooled to become distilled water;
After online detection of conductivity, qualified distilled water is output as injection water, and unqualified distilled water will be discharged.
The secondary steam converted from raw water is clean steam, which undergoes three separation processes: after initially entering the evaporator, it flows down the tubes and evaporates simultaneously, which is the first separation;
The evaporated raw water (secondary steam) is turned back 180 degrees at the lower end of the evaporator, and impurities are separated to the lower part by gravity, which is the second separation; The evaporated raw water, i.e. secondary steam, continues to spiral upwards in the evaporator and reaches the intermediate separation device for the third separation.
The cooling water only passes through the condenser to cool down the distilled water produced by each effect and the secondary steam of the final effect. Industrial steam heats the raw water in the first effect evaporator, and its condensed water heats the raw water in the first effect preheater. After the heat is absorbed, it becomes condensed water and is discharged outside the machine. In the condenser, there is a portion of gas that cannot condense into water, called non condensable gas, which will be removed by the exhaust device installed on the upper part of the condenser. Depending on the model, this type of non condensable gas continuous discharge device may also be installed on each evaporator.
structural materialThe pressure vessel body and pipeline in contact with distilled water and secondary pure steam are made of 316L, and the sealing material is PTFE. Other materials include the rack made of 304 material.
Three stage separation deviceThe raw water entering the equipment undergoes three-stage separation, including liquid film evaporation, gravity separation, and special separation devices. Electrochemical polishing: Electrochemical polishing of stainless steel surface to ensure the quality of production injection water and improve the service life of equipment.
Double tube plate designThe external preheater, condenser, and first effect evaporator are all designed with double tube plates, which comply with cGMP requirements and effectively eliminate the possibility of low hygiene level medium contamination of the system.
The heat exchange tube adopts high-quality seamless tube:Seamless pipes have better strength and durability, ensuring that they remain in good condition during processing, welding, expansion and contraction during operation, and preventing any leakage of industrial steam, raw water and cooling water into clean distilled water and secondary steam sides.
3D bend pipe:Try to use stainless steel pipes for direct stretch bending on the pipeline to avoid welding.
Use automatic welding:The connection between pipelines and components should be welded using automatic argon gas protection trajectory welding as much as possible to ensure welding quality. Insulation: The evaporator and preheater are both insulated with mineral wool insulation layer that is chlorine free and asbestos free, and wrapped with stainless steel cladding.
Only requiring economical pre-treatment of raw materials and water:No expensive purified water equipment is required, the raw water only needs deionized water or reverse osmosis water with a conductivity of less than 5 μ S/cm.
Economic energy conservationThe multi effect distilled water machine has a high utilization rate of industrial steam and significant energy-saving effect due to the gradual utilization of secondary steam in each effect. As the number of evaporator efficiencies increases, the energy-saving effect becomes more pronounced. At the same time, the amount of cooling water also decreases significantly with the increase of efficiency.
