Product Introduction
Black Carbon aerosols typically have a particle size of less than 2.5 microns and are an important component of atmospheric aerosols. They originate from amorphous carbon emissions from incomplete combustion of carbonaceous materials and strongly absorb solar radiation in the visible infrared range.
Measurement principle:
By continuously collecting particles on the filter membrane to measure the attenuation of light, the absorption characteristics and transmission of black carbon aerosols in different optical bands are determinedThe degree of attenuation is used to obtain the concentration of black carbon aerosols. The concentration of black carbon substances in aerosols is mainly measured at a wavelength of 880nm. Continuous measurement in multiple bands can better obtain information on aerosol optical absorption, optical characteristics, radiation transmission, emission sources, and source apportionment.
Application fields:
Atmospheric aerosol black carbon monitoring, atmospheric radiation transmission monitoring, analysis of atmospheric aerosol sources, roadside monitoring of road traffic, combustion emissions of carbon containing substancesRelease monitoring.
