The CYU1-C series surge protector (SPD) is suitable for IT applications with AC 50/60Hz and rated voltage of 380V TT、TN-C、TN-S、TN-C-S， Protect the power supply system from indirect lightning, direct lightning effects, or other transient overvoltage surges.
SPD complies with GB18802.1/IEC61643-1.
Working principle
SPD is a one port, anti electric shock protection, indoor fixed installation, voltage limiting type.
SPD has a built-in disconnector. When SPD fails due to overheating or breakdown, the disconnector can automatically disconnect it from the power grid and provide an indication signal. Normal white, failure red.

Installed at the junction of LPZ1 or LPZ2 zones, using a 35mm standard guide rail to connect copper wires ranging from 2.5 to 35mm2.
Each pole of SPD must be equipped with protection - using fuses or miniature circuit breakers.
Remote signaling contact
The protector can add remote signaling function, and the remote signaling contacts have normally open and normally closed contacts. If the module or multiple modules of the protector fail, the contacts will close and send out fault information.
