Multi effect evaporation is a series evaporation device that uses the secondary steam from the previous effect as the heating steam for the next effect. In multi effect evaporation, the operating pressure of each effect, the corresponding heating steam temperature, and the boiling point of the solution decrease sequentially. In multi effect evaporation, heating steam is added to the first effect, and the secondary steam generated from the first effect serves as the heating steam for the second effect. The heating chamber of the second effect acts as the condenser for the first effect, and the secondary steam generated from the second effect serves as the heating steam for the third effect. By connecting multiple evaporators in series, multi effect evaporation is formed.
