| Oil immersed regulators operate reliably and are easy to use and maintain. The working principle and structure of an induction regulator are similar to those of a locked rotor asynchronous motor, while the energy conversion relationship is similar to that of an autotransformer. It uses transmission mechanisms such as handwheels or servo motors to generate angular displacement between the stator and rotor, thereby changing the phase and amplitude relationship of the induced electromotive force between the stator winding and the rotor winding, in order to achieve the purpose of adjusting the output voltage. There are two types of induction voltage regulators: three-phase and single-phase. | |||||||
| If the rotor position of the oil immersed voltage regulator is changed, that is, by changing the angle α, the secondary output voltage U2 can be smoothly adjusted. The output voltage value and minimum value are respectively single-phase induction voltage regulator structure and voltage regulation function similar to three-phase induction voltage regulator, but its stator and rotor are both single-phase windings. Due to the absence of sliding contacts, the induction regulator operates reliably. However, it only rotates one angle during the pressure regulation process and does not continue to rotate, resulting in poor heat dissipation conditions. For smaller capacities, air cooling can be used, while for larger capacities, oil cooling is required.
