Online monitoring system for CO and carbon monoxide in coal powder silo
It is a process analysis instrument tool for measuring gas composition, mainly divided into portable/online gas analyzers. In many production processes, especially those involving chemical reactions, automatic control of the process based solely on physical parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow rate is often insufficient. More precise and scientific gas analyzers are needed for auxiliary detection. Due to the vast differences in the analyzed gases and the diverse analysis principles, there are numerous types of gas analyzers. Commonly used gas analyzers include austenitic gas analyzers, thermal conductivity gas analyzers, electrochemical gas analyzers, infrared absorption analyzers, and laser gas analyzers.
Although gas detectors and gas analyzers both use gas sensors to measure gas concentration in principle, they are widely used in various places such as petrochemicals, coal, metallurgy, chemical industry, municipal gas, environmental monitoring, etc. But they are quite different in terms of their functions, structures, detection methods, detection accuracy, control methods, operation methods, and interference elimination methods. Let's take a look with the editor at the differences below.
The gas detector does not have an adjustment and control part for the technical conditions of the sample gas process, and it also does not consider the environmental conditions of the sample gas and directly performs detection.
The complete set of gas circuit system and external supporting equipment inside the gas analyzer constitute a relatively complete chemical process flow. The gas analyzer adjusts and controls the working conditions of the sample gas internally to achieve the normal and stable operation of the sensor. This is the guarantee that the gas analyzer can obtain accurate measurement data.
6. Different methods of operation for completing the entire measurement process
When using a gas detector, simply place the instrument in the measured atmosphere and the instrument will display the value.
The gas analyzer must carefully introduce the sample gas into the instrument and then strictly adjust the process technical conditions, such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, etc. Only when the operator adjusts the instrument until a stable chemical process is achieved, can accurate measurement data be obtained. The data obtained before this is incorrect and must be discarded.
7. Different ways to consider excluding interfering factors
The gas detector directly places the sensor in the ambient atmosphere for measurement. The instrument structure design and actual use of the detection process do not consider the presence or absence of interference factors in the ambient atmosphere, and do not have the design ability to eliminate various interference factors.
