The double-sided surfaces of the filter plate have grooves, and the protruding areas support the filter cloth. Each filter frame and filter plate has large holes at the corners, and all filter plates form a complete channel after assembly, which can circulate suspension, washing water, and extract filtrate.

There are handles on both sides of the filter plate supported on the crossbeam, and the plate pulling trolley can push and pull the handles, which are compressed by the clamping device to press the plate and frame. The filter cloth between the board and the frame serves as a sealing gasket.

The suspension is pressurized into the filter chamber by the feed pump, forming filter residue on the filter cloth until the entire filter chamber is filled. The filtrate passes through the filter cloth under high pressure and flows along the groove of the filter plate to the corner channel of the plate frame, and is discharged centrally.

After filtration, the filter residue and filter cloth can be washed with washing water. After washing, sometimes compressed air is also introduced to remove the remaining washing solution. Then release the hydraulic cylinder, open the filter press to remove the filter residue, clean the filter cloth, re press the plate and frame, and start the next working cycle.
