PP purification tower is divided into single tower body and double tower body. It adopts a circular tower body and is connected in sections by flanges, consisting of a storage tank, tower body, inlet section, spray layer, packing layer, cyclone defogging layer, outlet cone cap, observation hole, etc.

Working principle of PP purification tower
Gas enters the purification tower from the inlet below the tower in a tangential direction. Under the power of the ventilation fan, it quickly fills the space in the inlet section and then uniformly rises through the equalization section to a filling absorption section. On the surface of the filler, acidic substances in the gas phase react chemically with alkaline substances in the liquid phase. The reaction product oil (mostly soluble salts) flows into the lower storage tank with the absorption solution. The unabsorbed acidic gas continues to rise and enter a spray section. In the spray section, the absorbing liquid is sprayed at high speed from uniformly distributed nozzles, forming countless small droplets that are fully mixed, in contact with the gas, and continue to undergo chemical reactions. Then the acidic gas rises to the stage packing section and spray section for a similar absorption process. The second stage and first stage nozzles have different densities, spray pressures, and absorption ranges of acidic gas concentrations. The process of contact between the spray section and the packing section is also a process of material heat and mass transfer. By controlling the flow rate and storage time of the empty tower, the adequacy and stability of this process are ensured. For some acidic gases with poor chemical reactivity, it is necessary to add a certain amount of surfactant to the absorption solution. The upper part of the tower is the defogging section, where the absorbed liquid droplets carried in the gas are removed. The treated clean air is discharged into the atmosphere through the exhaust pipe at the top of the purification tower. Equipment principle: For the treatment of corrosive gases (such as acid and alkaline waste gases), liquid absorption method is currently commonly used for treatment. The key to using liquid absorption method to treat this exhaust gas lies in the selection of purification equipment. At present, our company has independently developed acid and alkaline waste gas purification processes and equipment with high purification efficiency, simple operation and management, and long service life. This process combines the advantages of similar purification towers with multi-stage rotary spraying and absorption, and optimizes the technical parameters of the packing layer and tower body. It has the characteristics of simple structure, low energy consumption, high purification efficiency, and wide applicability. The acid mist exhaust gas is introduced into the purification tower through the air duct, and after passing through the packing layer, the gas-liquid two-phase contact absorption and neutralization reaction between the exhaust gas and the sodium hydroxide absorption liquid occurs. After purification, the acid mist exhaust gas is dehydrated and defogged by the defogging plate before being discharged into the atmosphere by the fan. The absorption liquid is pressurized by a water pump at the bottom of the tower and sprayed down from the top of the tower, and then refluxed to the bottom for recycling.

Application scenarios of PP purification tower
This process and exhaust gas treatment equipment can be widely used for the purification and treatment of acidic and alkaline exhaust gases emitted in industries such as chemical, electronic, metallurgical, electroplating, textile (chemical fiber), food, and machinery manufacturing. Such as seasoning food, acid making, pickling, electroplating, electrolysis, batteries, etc.

Scope of application of PP purification tower:
Widely used in the purification treatment of acidic and alkaline waste gases emitted in industries such as chemical, electronic, metallurgical, electroplating, textile (chemical fiber), food, and machinery manufacturing, such as seasoning food, acid production, acid washing, electroplating, electrolysis, batteries, etc.
The precautions for using PP purification tower are as follows:
(1) Adjustment of circulating water volume: It is determined by the PP purification tower water supply pump. When one boiler is running, one can be turned on. When two or three pumps are running simultaneously in winter, both pumps should be turned on. The flow rate of the mud pump should be adjusted according to the flow rate of the circulating pump to make it equal.
(2) The dosing amount in the dosing tank of the PP acid mist purification tower: When running one boiler, add 2 bags of alkali and 5 bags of hydrated lime. If two or three boilers are running in winter, the dosing amount can be increased by the corresponding multiple.
(3) The sedimentation tank of PP acid mist purification tower should be cleaned regularly, once a week in summer and once every three days in winter.
(4) When discharging from the grey water separator, discharge once per shift and open the discharge valves separately until clear water is discharged.
(5) The above rotating components should be regularly inspected and oiled, and any faults should be promptly eliminated to ensure the desulfurization effect of the spray tower.
(6) Attention should be paid to self security and mutual security awareness when adding medication up and down stairs.
(7) After the work is completed, it is necessary to clean up the area in a timely manner and ensure that the site is clear when people leave.
PP purification tower inspection equipment:
(1) The outlet inside the tower is unobstructed and the water flow is smooth;
(2) Ensure that the drainage outlet is free of debris and dust accumulation; If possible, it is recommended to clean the sewage outlet once a week;
(3) Ensure the state of adding chemicals inside the tower; The pH value of the solution at the bottom of the tower should be controlled between 7.5-8;
(4) Check the water storage tank and replenish the caustic soda in a timely manner;
(5) Check if the water pump motor is heating up, if there is any abnormal noise, and if there is any water seepage in the pump body.
When equipment malfunctions, first identify the cause of the problem, and take immediate measures if individuals can solve it; If an individual cannot solve it, they should promptly notify the responsible personnel and operators. When it is necessary to stop the operation of the equipment for maintenance, the induced draft fan should be stopped first, and then the circulating pump should be stopped.
PP purification tower inspection and maintenance content:
1: Dust and dirt on the surface of the organization.
2: Is there any blockage in the sprinkler head.
3: Clean the water tank for sediment blockage and keep a record for easy customization of the next cleaning time.
4: Observe whether there are heavy stains on the surface of the Raschig ring, and if so, take it out and place it in a large sink to neutralize the surface stains with a neutralizing agent.
5: Determine whether activated carbon needs to be replaced based on exhaust odor or data. After use, activated carbon can be exposed to sunlight for recycling and reuse.
6: Check for any abnormal noise, looseness, or blockage in the water pump.
