Installation and commissioning method of electric gate valve:

1. Electric gate valves can be installed on horizontal or vertical pipelines. Single and double gate gate valves should be installed on horizontal pipelines, and the handwheel should be located above the valve, and downward installation is not allowed. The flow direction of the medium in the gate valve is not restricted.

2. 2. Electric gate valves are usually connected by flanges, and welding connections are also used in special occasions.

3. For large-diameter and high-pressure gate valves, the opening and closing torque is relatively large. To reduce the opening and closing torque, a bypass valve can be installed. The bypass valve is installed outside the main gate valve, and its inlet and outlet are connected in parallel with both sides of the main gate valve. Before opening the main gate valve, the bypass valve should be opened first. After entering the valve, the pressure difference before and after the gate of the main gate valve should be reduced, thereby reducing the opening torque of the main gate valve. The selection of bypass valve diameter should be based on the main valve diameter and usage requirements.

4. 4. Electric gate valves are block valves with inferior sealing performance compared to globe valves. The main 'responsibility' of a gate valve is to 'cut off flow' and 'continue flow' with minimal resistance. It is not suitable for regulating the flow rate and pressure of the medium. If used for a long time, the sealing surface is easily eroded and worn by the medium, which affects the sealing performance.

5. 5. Attention should be paid to the reliability of the use of electric gate valves in terms of medium temperature and pressure. At high temperatures and pressures, changes in temperature may cause the gate to become stuck, and uneven temperature distribution of the medium can lead to unsealing. Wedge type but gate valve is particularly obvious.

6. 6. When powering on for the first time, attention should be paid to the phase sequence of the power supply. The correct operation method is to manually open the gate valve to the * * position, and then jog the switch valve to adjust the stroke of the valve (contact the manufacturer for specific adjustment methods) before it can operate normally.
