（4） Soft, semi soft, and composite fillers
1. Scope of application:
Suitable for aerobic treatment of industrial wastewater and domestic sewage in printing and dyeing, refining and dyeing, wool spinning, carpets, cotton spinning, silk, pharmaceuticals, cyanide containing, petrochemical industries, etc. It is also suitable for anaerobic treatment of high concentration wastewater from industries such as hemp spinning, alcohol production, sugar production, papermaking, and food fermentation. Easy to cause no blockage of the conjunctiva, with a film-forming time that is half that of other fillers, at 18·C to 30.Under C conditions, a certain ratio of film-forming nutrients, bacterial strains, and air-water can achieve full load operation standards within six to seven days.

In current sewage treatment, soft and semi soft fillers are widely used in treatment facilities such as biological contact oxidation, biological filtration towers, cooling towers, various chemical reaction towers, anaerobic tanks, and towers. Due to the fact that both types of fillers require brackets for installation, the choice of which form and material of bracket to use is often a matter of concern for designers. Steel brackets can be processed by all units, but there are drawbacks such as easy oxidation and corrosion, heavy weight, and difficulty in lifting. In order to solve practical problems, the filler and bracket are supplied together. The framework is divided into two types: assembled and fixed.

Compared with other fillers, elastic fillers have fast membrane formation, easy membrane detachment, good biofilm growth and renewal, and resistance to high organic load impact CODCrHigh removal rate, good treatment effect, good oxygenation performance, multi-level collision of bubbles, dense cutting, can greatly improve the transfer rate of oxygen. Its five indicators of oxygenation performance are better than various commonly used fillers in China, more than twice as high as soft fillers, reducing power consumption. The structure is novel, with a large effective surface area, no agglomeration, no blockage, long service life, and can be reused. The production, operation, and management are simple. Strong adaptability, with good treatment effects on low concentration domestic sewage, medium concentration printing and dyeing wastewater, papermaking wastewater, oily wastewater, high concentration food industry wastewater, chemical wastewater, etc. It can be widely used in aerobic, facultative, and anaerobic treatment processes.
