PRCPassive hydrocarbon skimmerThe structure is simple and easy to install, making it a cost-effective hydrocarbon recovery equipment. The PRC passive oil skimmer is equipped with a float that can float up and down with the oil-water interface (equipped with an oil suction filter membrane), transporting hydrocarbons to the storage tank connected to it at the lower end. Normally, the PRC passive oil skimmer takes 4-6 hours to fill the bottom storage tank. At this point, the skimmer is removed from the well and the valve at the bottom of the storage tank is opened to allow the recovered waste oil to be discharged into the recycling facility. If the repair well contains excessive waste oil, it only takes about 15 minutes to fill the storage tank. When there are a large amount of impurities and particulate matter in the well, a filter sleeve can be installed to protect the oil skimmer.

Scope of application

PRCPassive hydrocarbon skimmerIt does not require energy consumption and belongs to a passive recycling system. It is usually deployed in places where there is a small amount of oil leakage, such as underground storage tanks, gas stations, etc.
