The photocatalytic oxidation device uses a process of high ozone UV beam, oxidation reaction catalyst, and ion generator to degrade odorous gases (organic waste gas), changing the molecular chain structure of odorous gases such as ammonia, trimethylamine, hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, methyl sulfide, dimethyl disulfide, carbon disulfide, and styrene, sulfides H2S, VOCs, benzene, toluene, xylene, etc., so that the molecular chains of organic or inorganic high molecular odorous compounds can be degraded and transformed into low molecular compounds such as CO2, H2O, etc. through UV beam irradiation, catalytic oxidation reaction, and oxidation reaction of positive oxygen ions.

Working principle of photocatalytic oxidation device

1. Using high ozone UV beams to decompose oxygen molecules in the air to produce free oxygen, also known as reactive oxygen species. Due to the imbalance of positive and negative electrons carried by free oxygen, it needs to combine with oxygen molecules to produce ozone. UV+O2 → O -+O * (reactive oxygen species) O+O2 → O3 (ozone). It is well known that ozone has a strong oxidizing effect on organic matter and has an immediate effect on odorous gases and other irritating odors. After the odorous gas is input into this purification equipment through exhaust equipment, the purification equipment uses UV ultraviolet beams and ozone to synergistically decompose and oxidize the odorous gas, causing it to degrade and convert into low molecular weight compounds, water, and carbon dioxide, which are then discharged outdoors through exhaust pipes.

2. Catalyst (titanium dioxide) generates chemically active superoxide anion radicals and hydroxyl radicals when exposed to ultraviolet light, attacking organic matter and achieving the effect of degrading organic matter. Titanium dioxide belongs to non leaching materials. While decomposing organic pollutants and killing bacteria, it does not decompose or dissolve itself. Its photocatalytic effect is long-lasting, and it has a long-lasting effect on killing bacteria and degrading pollutants.

Installation requirements for photocatalytic oxidation device:

1. This product is installed under negative pressure, with the induced draft fan placed behind the purifier;

2. After the purifier, a pipeline of more than 12 meters needs to be installed;

3. The exhaust duct needs to be 10% larger than the intake duct.

The photocatalytic oxidation device uses a voltage of 220V. The new purifier has been debugged and qualified by our company before leaving the factory. When the power is turned on (controlled by electronic control equipment), the power indicator light will turn on, indicating normal power on, and the purifier group switch can be started. The equipment is divided into two or more photocatalytic electronic control modules. When all modules are started, the entire load of the machine will be started. At the same time, single or multiple modules can also be started according to the concentration of exhaust gas.


Warm reminder for photocatalytic oxidation device

1. Non technical personnel are not allowed to disassemble, assemble, or test adjust this device on their own to avoid damaging the purifier and causing internal equipment or accidents;

2. If a malfunction occurs, the power should be turned off in a timely manner and the technical department of our company should be notified for repair;

3. Strictly prohibit live operation!!!

4. Regularly carry out maintenance and upkeep work.
