Desulfurization and denitrification are very important technologies in the field of industrial environmental protection. They mainly reduce and remove sulfur and nitrogen oxides in exhaust gas through a series of chemical reactions and physical methods, in order to reduce the harm to the environment and human health.

Ammonia desulfurization: using ammonia as an absorbent, it is divided into steps such as sulfur absorption, intermediate product treatment, and by-product manufacturing.

Limestone/gypsum method: using limestone or lime slurry to absorb SO2 in flue gas and generate sub calcium, the desulfurization efficiency can reach over 90%.

Wet desulfurization and denitrification technology: achieved through SCR reactor and catalyst, it can effectively remove carbon dioxide and nitrogen from flue gas, with an efficiency of over 90%.

The significance of desulfurization and denitrification: reducing the impact of waste gas on the environment in industrial production processes and protecting human health.

At present, there are dozens of types of flue gas desulfurization technologies. According to whether water is added during the desulfurization process and the dry and wet forms of the desulfurization products, flue gas desulfurization can be divided into three categories: wet, semi dry, and dry desulfurization processes. Wet desulfurization technology is relatively mature, efficient, and easy to operate.


1、 Wet flue gas desulfurization technology

Advantages: Wet flue gas desulfurization technology is a gas-liquid reaction with fast reaction speed and high desulfurization efficiency, generally above 90%. The technology is mature and widely applicable. Wet desulfurization technology is relatively mature, with safe and reliable production and operation. Among numerous desulfurization technologies, it always occupies a dominant position, accounting for more than 80% of the total installed capacity of desulfurization.

Disadvantages: The generated product is liquid or sludge, which is difficult to handle, the equipment is highly corrosive, the flue gas after washing needs to be reheated, the energy consumption is high, the land area is large, and the investment and operating costs are high. The system is complex, the equipment is large, the water consumption is high, and the one-time investment is high, which is generally suitable for large power plants.
