Product advantages:

Shell test and sealing test:

1. The shell test and sealing test media for plug-in valves are water (including preservatives), kerosene, or other suitable liquids with a viscosity not greater than water.

2. The sealing pair is a non-metallic sealed plug valve, and the sealing shell test and requirements are in accordance with GB/T13927-92 Class D.

3. The sealing pair is a metal sealed plug valve. For those with sealing performance requirements, the leakage rate of the sealing test is calculated as 1 × DNmm3/s. For those without sealing performance requirements, this test is not conducted.

4. The plug-in valve driven by electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic devices should be closed three times after the position is set, and the shell and sealing tests should be conducted according to the requirements of 1 and 3.

5. The cleanliness requirements for plug-in valves shall comply with the provisions of JB/T7748.

6. Static pressure life test.

7. The number of static pressure life tests for plug-in valves shall be in accordance with regulations, while other technologies shall comply with the provisions of JB/Z 234.

Pneumatic actuator function description:

1. The cylinder is controlled by a dual electric control three position five way solenoid valve, and a three position switch is used to control the penetrating knife gate valve to stay at the upper limit, lower limit, and any position.

2. When staying at the upper and lower limit positions, the limit switches at the upper and lower limit positions emit a set of normally open or normally closed independent signal contacts. Can be used as a status indicator.

3. When staying at the upper and lower limit positions, the limit switches at the upper and lower limit positions automatically cut off the power supply to the corresponding control coils of the solenoid valve. When the penetrating knife type gate valve stays at the upper and lower limit positions, the electric control coil of the solenoid valve is not powered, which can avoid the heating of the solenoid coil and improve the service life of the solenoid valve, greatly improving its reliability.

4. When staying at the upper and lower limit positions; The gas source is cut off without consuming gas, but the air pressure of the locking valve cylinder remains in the cylinder, ensuring reliable stopping.

5. During the pneumatic switch process, if the control power is cut off, the inlet and outlet air of the cylinder are also cut off. The air pressure of the locked penetrating knife gate valve cylinder remains in the cylinder. If there is no leakage in the cylinder piston, solenoid, and joint, it can stay at any position.

Optional accessories for pneumatic actuators:

1. Single or dual control solenoid valve (available in 24V, 220V and other voltage options, explosion-proof solenoid valve can be selected if necessary).

2. Approaching the switch.

3. Three components for air source treatment (including pressure reducing valve, filter, and oil mist device).

4. Electric/pneumatic valve positioner (for regulating type).

Precautions for the correct use of pneumatic actuators:

(1) The direction of load movement must be aligned with the direction of piston rod movement to prevent twisting of the piston rod.

(2) Use a combination of filters, pressure reducers, and lubricators (F-R-E combination) to adjust air quality and increase service life.

(3) Choose pneumatic actuators with output greater than the actual load to avoid danger when the air pressure is insufficient.

(4) Pay attention to the ambient temperature, and the use temperature of piston rings and sealing materials in the cylinder is generally limited to -5 ℃ to+60 ℃.

(5) There is a corrosive gas environment, and PTFE is generally used as the material for the piston and sealing parts inside the cylinder.
