Product Details

The main material of polypropylene needle punched felt bag is polypropylene fiber, which is used to manufacture polypropylene needle punched filter felt. In addition to some advantages of ordinary needle punched filter felt, polypropylene has superior acid and alkali resistance and lower softening point compared to polyester fibers.

In liquid-solid separation, polypropylene needle punched felt bags are usually used in conjunction with liquid-solid separation equipment such as plate and frame filter presses, vacuum suction filters, belt filters, centrifugal filters, etc. Not only does it have good dimensional stability and small elongation, but it also has the advantages of low vacuum resistance, energy saving, and easy cleaning due to its smooth and porous surface and high breathability. In industries such as mineral processing, coal preparation, petroleum, and chemical engineering, polypropylene needle punched filter felt performs much better than traditional woven filter media in filtering small particles and other applications.

Polypropylene needle punched filter felt is generally made of 3D or 6D polypropylene short fibers, woven with high-strength silk to enhance the base fabric, and processed through needle punched reinforcement, calendering, heat setting and other post-treatment processes.

Polypropylene needle punched filter felt is mainly used for liquid-solid separation in industries such as metallurgy, mining, petroleum, chemical, synthetic fiber, medicine, and food.
