Portable transparency meter

The transparency meter is designed based on the SL87-1994 "Water Quality Analysis Method" standard and is suitable for measuring the transparency of natural water and lightly polluted water. The transparency of water depends on its turbidity (referring to the degree of turbidity caused by the presence of various plankton and suspended solids in the water) and chromaticity (the color caused by suspended organisms and dissolved organic matter).

Precautions for Transparency Meter:

1. Water samples with a high concentration of suspended matter may sometimes experience sedimentation at the bottom of the transparency meter, which is a cause of error and should be noted.

2. Lighting conditions should be as consistent as possible. The light source should be white light in principle, avoiding direct sunlight

3. Differences in vision can cause deviations in the measured values, so it is necessary to choose a tester with normal vision and take the average of multiple or multiple measurements.
