Before starting up, check whether the connections of each water pump and pipeline are firm;

Explanation: The underground hospital sewage treatment equipment consists of two parts: a regulating tank and a biochemical integrated equipment. The electrical control cabinet is arranged outdoors or installed in the computer room.

3.1 Process Description

The sewage flows into the regulating tank, and the lifting pump lifts the sewage into the integrated sewage treatment system, which consists of an aerobic tank, a sedimentation tank, a disinfection tank, and a sludge tank.

Process flow description:

A. Regulating pool

Due to the low elevation of the incoming water, it is not possible to directly flow into the underground hospital sewage treatment equipment. Therefore, an additional water collection and lifting pool will be added in front of the biochemical integration equipment. There are two submersible lift pumps installed in the water collection lifting pool, which lift the wastewater in the pool to the integrated sewage treatment equipment. (The outlet elevation of the regulating pool in this sewage treatment plant exceeds that of the integrated hospital sewage treatment equipment. There is no equipment to lift the regulating pool pump, and the regulating pool sewage flows into the integrated hospital sewage treatment equipment by itself.)

B. Biological contact oxidation tank (including primary and secondary oxygen tanks)

In the biological contact oxidation tank, oxygen is continuously supplied to the sewage through underwater aerators, and aerobic microorganisms are used to oxidize organic matter, greatly reducing COD and BOD in the sewage and achieving discharge standards.

C. Sedimentation tank

After biochemical treatment, the sewage enters the sedimentation tank, and the suspended solids in the sewage partially settle at the bottom of the tank. The clarified sewage flows out from the overflow weir at the other end of the sedimentation tank. The sludge accumulated in the sedimentation tank is returned to the contact oxidation tank through the sludge pump.

D. Disinfection pool

The disinfection tank receives overflow water from the sedimentation tank. Sodium hypochlorite solution is added to the disinfection tank to kill toxic and harmful microorganisms such as Escherichia coli that remain in the treated water, ensuring the safety of the effluent.

E. Sodium hypochlorite dosing device

The sodium hypochlorite dosing device consists of a metering pump and a dosing bucket, which contains sodium hypochlorite disinfectant. The metering pump continuously and evenly adds disinfectant to the disinfection tank.

Process description:

The design of integrated hospital sewage treatment equipment is mainly aimed at the treatment of hospital sewage and similar industrial organic sewage. Its main treatment method is to use a relatively mature biochemical treatment process - biological contact oxidation method. The water quality design parameters are calculated according to the general domestic sewage water quality design, and the influent BOD is5The average value is less than 200mg/L, and the effluent BOD5The average value is less than 10 mg/L.

C、 The sedimentation tank adopts an inclined plate sedimentation tank. The biological fillers shed from the biological contact oxidation tank enter the sedimentation tank with the water flow, and the sludge and water are separated in the sedimentation tank. The clean water enters the disinfection tank through the overflow weir, and the shed biofilm enters the sludge hopper. In order to improve the denitrification and phosphorus removal efficiency of the sewage treatment system and reduce the amount of sludge, a sludge return pipe is installed at the bottom of the sedimentation tank. The sludge at the bottom of the tank is discharged to the sludge storage tank, and the sludge in the storage tank is regularly discharged to the primary contact oxidation tank.

D. Disinfection pool. The disinfection tank receives overflow water from the sedimentation tank, with an effective volume of 4.0m3Add sodium hypochlorite solution to the disinfection tank to kill toxic and harmful microorganisms such as Escherichia coli that remain in the treated water, ensuring safe effluent.
