The reverse osmosis pure water treatment system mainly consists of multi-stage high-pressure pumps, reverse osmosis membrane components, membrane shells (pressure vessels), brackets, etc. Its main function is to remove impurities from water, making the effluent meet the requirements of use, and it has been widely used in scientific research, medicine, food, beverage, seawater desalination and other fields.
Reverse osmosis pure water treatment systemReverse osmosis is a reverse migration movement of permeation, which is a separation method that separates solutes and solvents in a solution by using the selective retention effect of a semi permeable membrane under pressure. The phenomenon of reverse osmosis equipment is common in nature, for example, when a cucumber is placed in saltwater, it will shrink due to dehydration. The process by which water molecules in cucumbers enter a saline solution is called permeation. If a thin film that only water molecules can pass through is used to divide a water tank into two parts, pure water and salt water are injected on both sides of the membrane to the same height. After a period of time, it can be observed that the level of pure water has decreased, while the level of saltwater has increased. We call the phenomenon of water molecules migrating into saltwater through this membrane permeation. The rise of saltwater level is not endless, it will reach an equilibrium point at a certain height. At this point, the pressure represented by the liquid level difference at both ends of the diaphragm is called osmotic pressure.

In addition to general filters, permeable purified water equipment also includes fine filters, granular activated carbon filters, and compressed activated carbon filters. Fine filters have finer filtering functions than regular filters and can better filter impurities in water. As we know, activated carbon has good adsorption and filtration functions for odors and impurities. The reverse osmosis purified water equipment uses dual activated carbon filters to achieve deep filtration processing of raw water, improving the filtration efficiency of the equipment. Meanwhile, enhancing filtration capacity by increasing water pressure is also an innovation.
When pure water and saltwater are separated by an ideal semi permeable membrane, which only allows water to pass through and prevents salt from passing through, the water on the pure water side of the membrane will spontaneously flow into the saltwater side through the semi permeable membrane. This phenomenon is called permeation. If pressure is applied to the saltwater side of the membrane, the spontaneous flow of water will be suppressed and slowed down. When the applied pressure reaches a certain value, the net flow rate of water through the membrane is equal to zero. This pressure is called osmotic pressure. When the pressure applied to the saltwater side of the membrane is greater than the osmotic pressure, the flow of water will reverse, and at this time, the water in the saltwater will flow into the pure water side. The above phenomenon is the basic principle of reverse osmosis (RO) treatment of water.
