Scope of Application
The SPR-NL-II anti condensation device is used for power equipment such as high and low voltage switchgear, outdoor terminal boxes, high and low voltage control cabinets, ring main units, box type substations, dry-type transformers, instrument boxes, etc. that require automatic dehumidification and anti condensation, especially for equipment that is already in operation and needs to remove accumulated water. At the same time, this device can be used for a long time in strong electromagnetic fields and various harsh natural environments.

SPR-NL-II anti condensation deviceIt is a high-tech product specially developed for dehumidification and prevention of condensation in electrical cabinets. This device is installed inside the electrical control cabinet, and by locally creating condensation conditions, the humid air inside the cabinet condenses into water and is directly discharged outside the cabinet, which can quickly and effectively reduce the humidity of the air inside the electrical cabinet and suppress the occurrence of condensation. It has a significant effect on preventing problems such as aging of equipment inside the cabinet due to moisture and condensation, decreased insulation strength, secondary terminal breakdown, material mold, and corrosion of steel structural components.

♦ Product Installation

1. The device is mounted in the middle and lower positions inside the cabinet using aluminum bar supports and fastened with M5 screws. Ensure that the device is level and not tilted during installation. [Figure D shows a portable magnet fixation]

2. Ensure that there is a space of more than 10 centimeters between the device and other objects, and that the fan vents are unobstructed.
3. Connect one end of the water intake pipe to the drainage outlet of the device, fix it with a clamp, and keep the middle of the water outlet pipe straight, without winding or bending, to prevent poor drainage; The other end leads to the outside of the cabinet and is equipped with insect proof plugs. The length of the water pipe can be cut according to the on-site situation.

4. The heater [optional] should be installed reliably and firmly, with a horizontal distance of not less than 10 centimeters from the cables and other components inside the cabinet. There should be no cables or other heat sensitive devices in the vertical direction.

♦ Functional Description

1) High humidity warning
After 10 hours of operation, if the humidity inside the cabinet still does not drop to the set working threshold, the device will issue a warning, and the "fault" light will turn on [restart light will turn off], reminding the user that the humidity inside the cabinet exceeds the dehumidification capacity of the device and that the dehumidification power needs to be increased.
2) Fault alarm
This device experienced a malfunction during operation and displayed a fault code, while still in working condition.
3) Temperature compensation
When the temperature inside the cabinet is below 5 ℃ (default), this device controls the heater to provide temperature compensation to the cabinet through the auxiliary heating control interface. When the temperature inside the cabinet is 3 ℃ higher than the initial set temperature, stop the auxiliary heating.
4) Fault alarm output

When the power supply, air supply system, or dehumidification system malfunctions, a fault code is displayed and an alarm contact [passive contact, contact capacity: AC220V/1A] is simultaneously output. It can also remotely transmit the current humidity value, preset humidity value, and fault information through the RS485 communication interface.

♦ Product Maintenance

1) Regularly check whether the usage space of the device is relatively enclosed, reduce the entry of humid external air into the cabinet, and avoid reducing the dehumidification effect.
2) Regularly clean the air inlet and outlet to prevent blockage and avoid affecting the dehumidification effect.
3) Regularly check whether the drainage pipeline is unobstructed to prevent condensation water from overflowing the collector and seeping out from the gaps in the casing after blockage.
