The dual switching filter, also known as the parallel switching filter, uses two three-way ball valves to assemble two single cylinder filters on one machine base. When cleaning the filters, there is no need to stop them to ensure their continuous operation. It is the preferred filtration device for non-stop production lines. The filter element of this filter can also use high-quality PP filter bags to filter out particles with a diameter of 5 microns or more, in addition to stainless steel filter cartridges (this filter can also be specially designed and manufactured according to the actual application of customers).

Scope of Application

1. Chemical industry refers to weakly corrosive materials in chemical production, such as water, ammonia, oil products, hydrocarbons, etc.

2. Corrosive materials in chemical production, such as caustic soda, concentrated and dilute sulfuric acid, carbonic acid, acetic acid, etc.

3. Low temperature materials in refrigeration, such as liquid methane, liquid ammonia, liquid oxygen, and various refrigerants.

4. Materials with hygiene requirements in light industrial food and pharmaceutical production, such as beer, beverages, dairy products, grain slurry, medical supplies, etc.

Installation and usage instructions

1. The dual filter is installed horizontally, usually with an upper inlet and a lower outlet.

2. After the filter works for a period of time, a large amount of impurities will settle in the filter basket, causing an increase in pressure drop and a decrease in flow rate. It is necessary to immediately switch to another cylinder for filtration.

3. When cleaning impurities, special attention should be paid to ensure that the stainless steel wire mesh on the filter element is not deformed or damaged. Otherwise, if the filter is installed again, the purity of the filtered medium will not meet the design requirements, and equipment such as compressors, pumps, and instruments will be damaged.

4. If the stainless steel wire mesh is found to be deformed or damaged, it needs to be replaced immediately.
