If problems are found in the school system's pressurization, they need to be cleaned up in a timely manner, and the crew should not be allowed to work with "illness". For example, when severe wear and tear is found on the water pump shaft packing, it is necessary to increase the packing in a timely manner, otherwise it will cause air leakage from the water pump shaft packing. Leakage of the water pump shaft packing not only causes excessive energy consumption of the unit, but also leads to cavitation, accelerating the damage of the impeller and directly affecting the service life of the water pump. For example, if you notice severe vibration in a variable frequency water pump, immediately shut it down for inspection. Otherwise, if the pump bends and deforms, it is very likely to cause a safety accident.

The piston actuator in the pneumatic valve of the school's centralized water boosting system is commonly used. As for pneumatic valves, the piston actuator can fully utilize the pressure of the gas source, making the size of the actuator smaller than that of the diaphragm type, with greater thrust. The O-ring in the piston is also more reliable than that of the diaphragm type, so its use will become more and more common.

When the school's centralized water pressure boosting system shows a leak in the bottom valve, some operators try to save energy by filling the inlet pipe with dry soil before each start-up, and then pouring water to flush the soil to the bottom valve to prevent it from leaking. This method may seem simple and easy to implement, but it is not practical enough. Because when the water pump starts working, the sand and soil inside the bottom valve will enter the pump with the water, wear out the impeller, pump casing, and shaft, seriously affecting the service life. The correct way is to inspect the bottom valve. If it cannot be repaired, it should be replaced.
