1. Working status of semi-automatic backwash filter
The manual butterfly valve is opened, and the valve plate and the filter cartridge axis are in normal working condition (parallel, and the wrench is also parallel to the filter cartridge axis), and the discharge valve is closed. The water from the inlet flows directly into the inner cylinder for filtration, and after being filtered through the filter, it flows out from the outlet.
2. Working status of semi-automatic backwash filter backwash
When the manual butterfly valve is closed, the valve plate is aligned with the axis of the filter cartridge (perpendicular axis, the wrench rotates 90 degrees and is perpendicular to the cylinder). The drain valve is opened, and water flows into the front end of the filter cartridge from the inlet. Because the valve is closed, the water flow is blocked by the valve plate and can only enter the mesh filter cartridge from the front half. The medium mainly flows out normally from the outlet. However, due to the opening of the drain outlet, debris is discharged and the pressure is reduced. Therefore, a part of the water returns to the filter cartridge from the outside of the filter screen, thereby achieving the goal of flushing impurities adhered to the inner wall of the mesh cartridge from the outside of the filter screen and discharging impurities and sewage from the drain outlet.
