Insulated ball valve, also known as jacket ball valve, is a type of ball valve that is welded with a metal jacket. It is used to inject steam or other insulation and cooling media to ensure that the media inside the valve can work normally. The insulated jacket ball valve has good insulation and cooling characteristics, and the valve diameter is consistent with the pipe diameter, while effectively reducing the heat loss of the medium in the pipeline.
Insulated ball valves come in several structural forms, including integral insulated ball valves, two-piece insulated ball valves, and clamp insulated ball valves, depending on their structure. They are widely used in system pipelines in industries such as chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical, and metallurgical.

Insulated jacket ball valves are mainly used in various systems such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, pharmaceutical, and food to transport high viscosity media such as heavy oil and rubber that solidify at room temperature.
3.Clamp on insulation ball valveStructural features:
The insulated jacket ball valve adopts an integral jacket structure design, which can provide more uniform insulation and cold insulation. The insulated ball valve is smaller in volume, lighter in weight, and has no leakage, with good sealing performance. The jacket is welded with carbon steel pipe, which is more pressure resistant and firm than cast ones. The outer side of the jacket and valve body is welded to the jacket connecting pipe, allowing a maximum pressure of 1MPa for steam or cold water.
Insulated ball valves have good insulation and cooling characteristics. Except for reduced diameter insulated ball valves, the diameter and diameter of the valve are the same, and the medium flows in a straight line with low resistance, which can effectively reduce the heat loss of the medium in the pipeline. Therefore, it has excellent performance for liquid media that are prone to solidification and high viscosity.
