The working principle of a single-stage double suction centrifugal pump is based on the action of centrifugal force. When the pump shaft drives the impeller to rotate at high speed, the liquid is thrown out of the impeller under the action of centrifugal force. At this point, a low-pressure zone is formed in the center area of the impeller, and the inlet liquid continuously flows towards the low-pressure zone under the action of atmospheric pressure. Specifically, the inlet liquid enters the central area of the impeller at the same time, and after being thrown out by the high-speed rotating impeller, a low-pressure zone is formed again at the center of the impeller, attracting more liquid to enter and circulate this process. In this way, the liquid is continuously sucked into and discharged from the pump body.

Installation and Debugging
After the installation of the pipeline, it should be cleaned in a timely manner to remove impurities and dirt, ensure the pipeline is unobstructed, and prevent debris from entering the pump chamber and damaging the overcurrent components.
The grounding wire should be reliable, the three-phase wiring should be firm, and there should be no virtual connections to prevent the motor from burning out due to phase loss.
operation monitoring
Before use, check if the motor and cables are insulated. From the direction of the motor, the pump should rotate clockwise and reverse rotation is strictly prohibited.
Before starting, check the opening of the inlet and outlet pipelines. The inlet valves should be open and the outlet valves should be closed. After starting, gradually open the outlet valve and monitor the motor current while adjusting the valve opening to control the current within the rated current.
maintenance
Regularly inspect the wear of vulnerable parts such as bearings and sealing rings, and replace them in a timely manner.
During long-term shutdown, the centrifugal pump should be lifted out of the water to prevent the motor from getting wet or the pump body from corroding.
