Sodium hypochlorite generator

1. Introduction
Traditional water purification plants generally use liquid chlorine or chlorine dioxide as disinfectants, but both have certain safety hazards. It has high operational requirements in raw material transportation, on-site preparation, and other aspects. Due to the involvement of hazardous drugs in the production process, approval and filing are still required, and the procedures are complicated. So in recent years, sodium hypochlorite has been increasingly used as a disinfectant. Sodium hypochlorite is a strong oxidant with strong bactericidal effect. Sodium hypochlorite disinfectant can quickly kill various pathogenic bacteria and viruses, such as Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, fungi, Bacillus subtilis, black mutant spores, etc., and destroy the surface antigen of hepatitis virus. As a disinfectant, it has the advantages of good disinfection effect, simple operation, and safety. It is suitable for disinfection of water plants, canteens, sanitary ware, swimming pools, etc.
2. Process principle
The sodium hypochlorite generator generates sodium hypochlorite solution through electrolytic reaction of low concentration saline solution. The overall response is expressed as follows:
NaCl + H2O → NaClO + H2 ↑
The sodium hypochlorite generator uses a microcomputer power control system and a special material coated titanium electrode. The electrolytic cell is made of all plastic titanium material, which can conveniently, safely, and stably produce high-efficiency, broad-spectrum, safe, and non-toxic sodium hypochlorite disinfectant.
3. Product Features
a. The YZ-XC series sodium hypochlorite generator is manufactured in accordance with the national standard (GB12176-90A), with complete specifications, reliable performance, and a service life of up to 20 years.
b、 It has the advantages of complete supporting facilities, high safety performance coefficient, high cost-effectiveness, easy operation, safety, and cheap raw materials.
c、 The key components are equipped with FMI-30 titanium anodes, which have high activity, long lifespan, and high effective chlorine production.
d、 The main box is made of corrosion-resistant materials such as engineering plastics UPVC and ABS.
e、 The electrolysis structure adopts a single row pipeline type, which has high electrolysis efficiency, good sealing, and is not easily blocked.
f、 Equipped with a tap water backwash system and an acid washing system for easy maintenance and longer lifespan of the equipment.
g、 The operating cost is equivalent to liquid chlorine, but lower than other disinfectants such as bleach, chlorine tablets, ozone, chlorine dioxide, etc.

(2) Sodium hypochlorite dosing device
1. Overview
This device adds the prepared finished sodium hypochlorite liquid into the dissolution tank, dilutes it in a certain proportion (usually 10%), and then adds it to the dosing point through a metering pump. It has the advantages of simple equipment and easy operation.

Composite ring control - jointly control the addition of sodium hypochlorite based on the flow rate of water and the residual chlorine value in the water.
