The suspended solids concentration is 100-350mg/L, and the biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5) is between 100-400mg/L. Among them, the suspended biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5) is 50-200mg/L. The retention time of sewage in the septic tank should not be less than 36 hours. For sewage treatment systems without sludge disposal, the capacity of the septic tank should also include the capacity for storing sludge.
