1、 Basic Information
Product definition: A pipeline filter with stainless steel as the core material and a Y-shaped appearance, used to remove solid impurities from fluids and protect downstream valves, pumps, instruments, and other equipment from wear or blockage.
Core material: The shell and filter are mostly made of 304 and 316L stainless steel (special working conditions can choose high temperature resistant stainless steel such as 310S), and the seals are commonly made of oil resistant asbestos, nitrile rubber or polytetrafluoroethylene.
2、 Structure and Working Principle
Structure composition: It consists of a main pipe (main channel for medium circulation), a filter chamber (with a built-in stainless steel filter), a drain outlet (located at the bottom of the Y-shape, used to discharge impurities), and connecting flanges/threads. Some models are equipped with pressure difference display devices, which can monitor the blockage of the filter in real time.
Working principle: Fluid flows into the main pipe, passes through a filter to intercept impurities, and then flows out of the branch pipe as clean fluid; Impurities deposit at the bottom of the filter chamber and are regularly discharged through the drain outlet or cleaned by disassembling the filter.

6、 Key points for installation and maintenance
Installation requirements: Install according to the flow direction arrow of the valve body. The inlet and outlet diameters should be consistent with the pipeline in principle, and the nominal pressure should not be lower than the maximum pressure of the system.
Maintenance cycle: It is recommended to check pollution discharge weekly in industrial scenarios and maintain it monthly in civilian scenarios; When the pressure difference before and after the filter exceeds 0.05MPa, the filter should be cleaned or replaced in a timely manner.
Attention: When cleaning the filter screen, avoid scratching with hard objects. Insulation protection should be done in low-temperature environments to prevent the internal medium from freezing and cracking the valve body.
