Stainless steel spray packing towerBy utilizing the contact between gas and liquid, pollutants in the gas are transferred to the liquid, and then the clean gas is separated from the contaminated liquid to achieve the goal of purifying exhaust gas. The exhaust gas is treated through a packed acid mist scrubbing tower using gas-liquid reverse absorption method, where the liquid is sprayed down from the top of the tower in the form of mist (or small droplets). The exhaust gas flows upstream from the bottom of the tower to achieve gas-liquid contact. This treatment can cool the exhaust gas, regulate the gas, remove particles, and then enter the atmosphere after being treated in the dehazing section.

Working Principle:

The bottom of the stainless steel spray packing tower is equipped with packing support plates, and the packing is placed on the support plates in a stacked manner. Install a packing pressure plate above the packing to prevent it from being blown by the rising airflow. The spray liquid is sprayed from the top of the tower onto the packing and left along the surface of the packing.

The exhaust gas enters the spray tower from the bottom and is evenly distributed through a flow equalization net. It then comes into contact with the spray liquid in a reverse and intimate manner. On the surface of the packing material, the exhaust gas comes into contact with the spray liquid and undergoes mass transfer. When the liquid flows down along the packing layer, wall flow often occurs. Wall flow can cause uneven distribution of exhaust gas and spray liquid in the packing layer, thereby affecting the effectiveness of exhaust gas treatment. At this point, it is necessary to add multiple layers of spray and filling devices.

Stainless steel spray packing tower structure:

The internal structure diagram of the exhaust gas treatment spray tower consists of a storage tank, tower body, inlet section, spray layer, packing layer, defogging layer, outlet cone cap, detection hole, etc.

The structure of a conventional spray tower can be summarized as follows: one layer for defogging, two layers for spraying, three layers for filling, four windows, and five ball valves with flexible joints.

Mist removal layer: generally separated by grid plates, with fillers placed on top, and the height of the filler layer can reach500mmIn order to improve the defogging efficiency, our company's spray tower can be equipped with a plate defogger.

Spray layer: The spray layer is composed of spray pipes and nozzles, with different densities depending on the diameter of the spray tower. With high-efficiency nozzle, the spray is even and the flow is large, which is not easy to block.

Packing layer: The packing layer is placed on top of the defogging layer and spray layer. The main fillers include polyhedral hollow spheres and Raschig rings. The packing layer inside the spray tower serves as a mass transfer device for gas-liquid two-phase contact components. The bottom of the packing tower is equipped with packing support plates, and the packing is placed on the support plates in a disorderly manner. Install a packing pressure plate above the packing to prevent it from being blown by the rising airflow. The spray liquid from the spray tower is sprayed onto the packing material through the liquid distributor at the top of the tower and flows down along the surface of the packing material.

Window: also known as a detection port, typically formed windows includeφ500mmandφ400mmTwo specifications. The main function of the window is to observe the operation of the spray tower, replace fillers, and inspect nozzles.

Installation and commissioning of stainless steel spray packing tower:

2When using, the purification tower should first turn on the circulating water pump2-3Minutes, then start the blower. When stopping, stop the blower first1-2Stop the circulating water pump again in minutes.

3Regularly inspect the sewage in the bottom water tank of the tower according to its usageWhen the gas purification level at the exhaust port exceeds the standard, the absorbent in the bottom water tank should be replaced.
