Star shaped ash discharge valve, also known asstar feederCommonly known as unloader, ash discharge valve, discharge valve, electric air lock, this valve was designed by Shanghai Chemical Design Institute and combines the advantages of ash discharge valves from both domestic and foreign sources. It has been refined over the years based on actual user usage.
Star shaped ash discharge valves are divided into circular star shaped ash discharge valves and square star shaped ash discharge valves according to their external structure. Their advantages are: smooth operation, uniform and accurate discharge, small structure and volume, good sealing performance, easy maintenance, lightweight and energy-saving, long service life, etc. It is also one of the indispensable equipment for conveying drying, dust, particles, and solids.
This valve is installed in the ash hopper of dust collectors for ash discharge, and is used in feeding and unloading systems in industries such as chemical, metallurgical, mining, cement, dust removal, environmental protection, power, and grain. We can also customize various non-standard star shaped ash discharge valves according to customer requirements.
Working principle of star shaped ash discharge valve: The star shaped ash discharge valve relies on the gravity of the material and the forced action of the feeder working mechanism to discharge the material from the warehouse and continuously and uniformly feed it into the next device. The star shaped ash discharge valve is mainly composed of a motor, a reducer, a housing, an impeller, a main shaft, bearings, and left and right end caps. Adopting a steel plate welded structure, the blades have strong wear resistance and integrate the transmission device, transmission shaft, and blades into one.
Due to the outward protrusion of the bearings and reducers of the star shaped ash discharge valve, it can prevent dust from entering the bearings and large particle materials from getting stuck. During operation, the deceleration motor drives the impeller to rotate through the coupling shaft, evenly carrying the material from the upper part of the shell to the lower part, which is then transported away by the next device. Therefore, the star shaped ash discharge valve can only be installed vertically, and horizontal installation is not allowed. The upper part of the feeder should maintain a certain column of material.
