As a modern cleaning tool, it is crucial to test the performance and safety of steam mops.Steam mop detectionCapable of evaluating multiple key indicators such as electrical safety, steam performance, and material durability of products to ensure compliance with relevant standards and user needs. Through comprehensive testing, the reliability, safety, and cleaning effectiveness of the product can be verified, providing quality assurance for consumers.
The steam mop testing project covers multiple dimensions such as safety, performance, durability, and user experience, aiming to comprehensively evaluate product quality. The following categories list the main testing items:
Safety testing: including electrical safety (such as insulation resistance and withstand voltage testing, according to GB 4706.1 standard), anti dry burning function (simulating water shortage to verify automatic power-off), protection against touching live parts, and leakage current at working temperature to ensure that there is no risk of electric shock or overheating during use.
Performance testing: The core projects include steam outlet temperature (measured using an infrared thermometer), steam duration (recording the continuous working time after a single water addition), cleaning efficiency (testing the number of cleaning cycles on standard stain samples), water residue (measuring condensate residue to evaluate steam conversion rate), and sterilization performance.
Capacity and structure testing: Conduct nominal capacity verification (actual water injection to the high water level line), maximum capacity (safe overflow limit), available capacity (actual usable water volume), and capacity consistency (same batch deviation analysis) for the water tank, while testing the sealing of the water tank (pressure detection leakage).
Durability and reliability testing: involving handle strength (load bearing test by applying tension), mop wear resistance (through friction test), power cord durability (repeated bending test), as well as overall weight and noise level (measuring operating noise in the soundproof room).
User experience and additional testing: including operational convenience (user evaluation of the ease of use of tasks such as mop disassembly and watering), satisfaction with cleaning effectiveness (based on user feedback ratings), temperature stability (continuous monitoring of steam temperature fluctuations), and waterproof rating (evaluated through water spray experiments).
